Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I understand that pickleball is a fast, physical sport played on a hard indoor court in a converted warehouse facility, and that it carries inherent risks — including, but not limited to: slips, trips, and falls; sprains, strains, and fractures; collisions with other players, walls, posts, or nets; being struck by a paddle or ball; eye injury; overexertion, dehydration, or heat-related illness; and, in rare cases, serious injury or a cardiac event. I voluntarily choose to play and assume all such inherent risks, whether or not currently foreseeable.

I confirm that I am physically fit to play and know of no medical condition that makes it unsafe for me to do so, or that I have obtained medical clearance. I will stop playing and seek help if I feel unwell.

I will follow venue house rules, posted safety signage, and staff instructions, and I will wear appropriate non-marking court shoes.

• To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release Pickle Rezerve, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from liability for injuries, losses, or damages I suffer that arise from the inherent risks of pickleball and the ordinary use of the facility.
• This release does not cover, and I do not waive, liability for gross negligence, willful or wanton misconduct, or any liability that cannot be waived under Philippine law (Civil Code Arts. 1306 and 2176). Nothing here removes my rights under the Consumer Act (RA 7394).

If I am injured and unable to give consent, I authorize Pickle Rezerve staff to arrange first aid and emergency medical transport on my behalf. I understand I am responsible for the related medical costs.

I am responsible for my own belongings. Pickle Rezerve is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, except where caused by our gross negligence.

Players under 18 may play only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By accepting this Waiver for a minor, the parent or legal guardian accepts it on the minor’s behalf and assumes these risks for the minor. Players under 13 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.

I consent to Pickle Rezerve collecting and processing my personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

I have read and understood this Waiver, accept it freely, and understand that it affects my legal rights. My acceptance is recorded electronically, with a timestamp, when I check the box during booking.
